Privacy Policy

When your NGO registers, we collect your organization's details — name, registration type (Trust, Society, or Section 8 company), and compliance information such as PAN, 80G, 12A, and FCRA registration numbers where provided.

Once you're using Daanlytics, your team enters donor records (name, contact details, address, PAN where applicable) and donation records (amounts, payment details, campaign association) as part of running your NGO's donor management.

We also collect basic account information for each team member — name, email, and role — to manage access to your organization's workspace.

All data is stored on infrastructure located in India — it is not transferred or stored outside the country.

Sensitive fields, including donor PAN numbers, are encrypted at rest. All traffic to and from Daanlytics is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Each NGO's data is isolated to its own subdomain. There is no shared database view or cross-tenant access between organizations on the platform.

Your data is used solely to provide the Daanlytics service to your organization — generating receipts, showing reports, running the features you've enabled, and improving the product.

We do not sell donor or donation data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

A small number of trusted providers process data on our behalf strictly to deliver the service: our payment gateway processes online donations, and our email provider sends receipts and notifications. These providers only receive the minimum data needed to perform their function.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is HTTP-only and secure, and is not used for advertising.

We also use Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site and the app are used (see "Analytics" below), and one small cookie that remembers your analytics choice.

We use Google Analytics to understand how Daanlytics is used, so we can improve it. Usage data is processed by Google, which may store it outside India. This is usage data about pages and buttons, not your donor or donation records, and we never send names, email addresses, PAN numbers, amounts, or receipt links to Google.

If you use the signed-in app: we record which pages you open and which actions you take (for example, creating a donor or downloading a receipt), linked to a pseudonymous user ID and your organization's ID and subdomain, not to your name or email. This is on by default for signed-in users. If you decline below, your activity is still counted, but anonymously: no cookies and no user or organization ID.

If you visit our public pages (the marketing site, public giving pages, receipts, and sign-in): until you click Accept on the banner, your visit is counted anonymously, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you. Clicking Accept lets Google Analytics use cookies to recognise repeat visits. You can change your choice at any time below.

Even anonymous counting involves your browser contacting Google, so Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as with any website that loads a Google service. We do not receive or store that information.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not enable Google's advertising features.

We retain your organization's data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your organization's data deleted, contact us at support@daanlytics.com and we'll process the request, subject to any records we're legally required to retain.

If a donor whose record is held in your NGO's workspace wants their data corrected or removed, that request should go to your organization first, since you control that record. We're happy to assist your team in fulfilling it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and adjust the date below. Continued use of Daanlytics after a change means you accept the updated policy.
